A website for all our automotive yesterdays (well back to the 1960s anyway!) which combines emotive images and texts with previews of tomorrow.

The plan is to open with some of the 3000+ key images I have been privileged to shoot or collect during 37 years writing about cars (and occasionally motorcycles) with caption information.

Stage 2 will see us add some of the editorial from the 33 books I wrote, and the many consumer road and track tests I experienced from 1968 to date. That means you will see and read about anything from the hottest Old School Fords to the latest in iDrive technocracy from BMW.

On the way we’ll visit the most fabulous of Audi quattros, including the factory rally cars and their star drivers. I was fortunate to experience the quattro in their 80’s heyday and continue to enjoy Audi’s TT-RS today.

We’ll also drive the World’s roads (and some classic race tracks) from Australia to the USA via all the major European communities. We’ll prove you don’t need piles of cash or the biggest motors to extract maximum smiles from every mile.

Other obsessions I'll share include Lotus from Elan to Elise, saloon/sedan racing of almost every kind, and the brutal test rides: racing Chrysler Viper, Corvette, Camaro, Mustang and Falcon, Jaguar E-Types, all Porsches great and small.

If you don‘t see it today — it’ll be here soon.

You get the picture, we're here for fun. If we can sell you something, or the advertisers find us worthwhile, then that'll mean we can just do a better job for you. We're here for the long haul and we hope you'll come along for the unique ride of a motoring lifetime.
