2011 is proving busy for Warty beasts as we get to British Touring Car Championship, Silverstone Classic and the comeback of MINI to World class rallying.

Previously there were invitations to drive convertible BMW 6 series in Spain, then grapple with Audi’s so-slippery and suave A6 in England along with Vauxhall’s ultimate driving import, the well-developed Holden V8 of 6.2 litres hauling 4-doors to 60 mph in 4.9 seconds.

Back in the real world, jwarthog gets a grip on massive rust and appropriate bill for our rather older 635 BMW…Oh, and breaks the speedo on the revitalised Sprite! Could be capable of breaking the speed limit or three now…
