Lotus Elise - The Official Story
Lotus Elise, The Official Story and Lotus Elise, The Official Story Continues are my most recent titles, published in 2003 and 2004 respectively by Coterie Press in the UK and USA.

Between them, they cover every aspect of Elise life from the first K-series models to the current Toyota 111Rs that are sold on both side of the Atlantic, plus the brace of Exiges, 340R and the transparent Expose flyweight campaigned by Elise parent, Tony Shute at Lotus.

As you would expect from Coterie owner William Taylor, presentation is quite beautiful (read the independent Amazon.co.uk reviews) and William’s love affair with Lotus is reflected in its pages. I was privileged to sit in on development of the original Elise over a 20 month period and that Lotus ‘Open House’ approach resulted in a unique viewpoint that has seen these books achieve some astonishing sales results.
