This old faithful was originally written for Osprey, and cheaply, in the early eighties. It was overhauled in the 1990s when it had reached three editions in the UK.

There is now an American Motorbooks version (with the cover illustrated) published in the summer of 2004. Not the most accurate of titles — perhaps because all the production stats came direct from then British Leyland — but it obviously has some cheap and cheerful charm to maintain such a long publishing life.
