Following a 1972 success in the Belgian Spa 24 hour race with BMW, Jeremy joined Ford Motorsports as an employee.
Forbidden to race, he was allowed the Belgian classic again for 1973, this time in a Ford of Boreham Capri 3-litre, the Ford coupe that subsequently served Tom Walkinshaw as a winning Group 1 racer in 1974.
